Symphony: A large orchestral piece split into chunks called movements. A symphony is an extended musical composition in Western classical music, scored almost always for orchestra. Usually in a symphony the 1st movement which was in sonata form, then the 2nd was slower, in a different key with a stronger melody line. The 3rd movement is much livelier than the other normally in a major key-in rondo form.
Concerto: A concerto is a musical work usually composed in three parts or movements, in which, usually, one solo instrument (for instance, a piano, violin, cello or flute) is accompanied by an orchestra. A piece of music for a solo instrument and orchestra.
Phrase/phrasing: A musical work is typically made up of a melody that consists of numerous consecutive phrases. Start and end where you would breathe if you were singing. (Mozart)
Diatonic music: Music where all the notes are within a key, no clashing sounds.
